Suspected heroin and crack cocaine dealers arrested in Halifax

Two men were arrested in Halifax on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with the intent to supply.

An officer from the Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team was on patrol on Hanson Lane when he saw the Black VW Golf.

The car was stopped by [police and the driver was detained at the scene.

Two men were arrested in Queen's Road, Halifax

However, a male passenger tried to run from the incident but was chased down by police officers.

A spokesperson for the policing team said: "Upon searching the vehicle a number of wraps of suspected heroin and crack cocaine as well as money were seized from the vehicle."
