Taylor admitted hitting the Indonesian man repeatedly with a mobile phone, binoculars and a broken beer bottle.

He said he approached Wayam Sudarsa believing the policeman may have stolen the bag, and the encounter escalated into a fight.

During the trial Conor said she was not an active participant in the attack.

But the judges found that her role prevented the officer from defending himself.

The body of Mr Sudarsa was found on a beach in the area of Kuta on August 17.
