Calderdale woman charged in connection with Extinction Rebellion protest

Merseyside Police has charged 26 people following a protest at the News International premises in Knowsley on Friday September 4.

The following people have been charged with aggravated trespass:

Extinction Rebellion (XR) activists blocked access at the site in Merseyside

Demonstrators accused the papers of failing to report on climate change.

All have been bailed with conditions to Liverpool Knowsley & St Helens Mags Court on 8 and 13 January 2021.
