Little Valley Brewery, Cragg Vale, will be providing Hebden’s Wheat, ABV 4.5%, a Belgian style, naturally hazy wheat beer, which is fruity and refreshing with hints of coriander and lemon. It will be paired with Salmon Sushi (California Rolls).

Its Stoodley Stout, ABV 4.8%, a rich and creamy stout containing chocolate and crystal malt mixed with oats and wheat has been chosen to accompany a Chocolate and Raspberry soup.

In total, 11 beers from seven Yorkshire breweries will be matched with dishes chosen and created by Jason Main, of the Cooking School.

“We are delighted to be working with The Cooking School to introduce more people to our beers and encourage them to experiment with matching beer with food, something that is now becoming more popular in the UK,” said Little Valley master brewer Wim van der Spek.

Due to its popularity, the course has just been extended with 12 additional places currently available.
