Marathon effort
David Woolley presented a cheque for £500 to the Huddersfield and District Army Veterans Association.
David, 68, of Brighouse, completed last year’s Great North Run to raise funds for the organisation - a group close to his heart.
David runs with the Halifax Harriers and it is the 16th year he has taken part in the event.
The cheque was presented at the association’s annual dinner, held at Greenhead Masonic Hall, Huddersfield.
