Halifax man charged for allegedly coughing on police and saying he had coronavirus

A 45-year-old Halifax man has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker after it is alleged he coughed on a police officer.

The incident happened when West Yorkshire Police attended a report of a disturbance in Sowerby Bridge.

While officers were there it is alleged the man coughed at a police officer, saying he had coronavirus.
