Cooking up a fruity treat
Pupils at Highbury School, Rastrick, had a day dedicated to apples to launch the planting of the school orchard.
Getting to the core alongside the children was Chef Matthew Benson Smith who organised an interactive Saturday Kitchen style demonstration with Apple Spring Rolls as the dish of the day.
Teacher Andrew Wright said “We planted an Orchard for each class, it will be a nice memory for the children of their time at Highbury.”
