QTS Group lends its support to Andy’s Man Club

QTS Group Andy’s Man Club, Oli Vikse, Gareth Hunt (QTS) and Andrew Greenway.

QTS Group, which provides specialist services in rail engineering, infrastructure and training, will see its employees fundraise for the charity over the course of the next year and it has kickstarted the partnership with a £500 donation.

The initial donation will support the charity as it maintains and expands its 36 mental health support groups (one of which is online) across England and Scotland.

Holiday bookings helping Halifax animals in need

The clubs encourage men to come together in a non-judgemental and confidential space to talk about any problems and issues past or present.

The charity was founded in Halifax by the family of Andy Roberts who took his own life. It aims to halve the number of male suicides.

The funds raised throughout the year by QTS Group, whose Yorkshire office is based in Leeds, will support Andy’s Man Club’s as it aims to open more groups across the county.

In the last month, it has already opened new clubs in Preston, Brighouse, Batley and Rochdale.

Sabrina Mullins, Office Manager at Andy’s Man Club, said: “During the pandemic, our groups have become even more essential in ensuring that men get the mental health support they need.

“The initial donation from QTS will help us maintain our clubs which are hosted across the country from Devon to Dundee, and we look forward to partnering together throughout 2021.”

Andy’s Man Club is one of QTS Group’s five charities of the year nominated by its employees.

The firm will also be supporting KIND, Whiteleys Retreat, The Kris Boyd Charity and Samuel’s Smile – all based across England and Scotland.
