Good Morning Britain presenter becomes patron of the Piece Hall

The well-respected actor, writer and broadcaster will help to raise The Piece Hall’s profile, introducing the venue to new supporters and increasing awareness of the Trust’s work.

Joining the likes of DJ Graeme Park, British wheelchair racer Hannah Cockroft MBE and television writer, producer and director Sally Wainwright, Adil Ray will provide his valuable support around activity that The Piece Hall is undertaking across a range of initiatives to promote the cultural venue on a regional, national and international footing.

Adil Ray OBE, Patron of The Piece Hall, said; “I’m thrilled to be joining as a Patron for The Piece Hall, a nationally significant venue that has a vital role to play in our culture and heritage and one that I’ve held a longstanding affection for.

"The Piece Hall is a fantastic venue, not least for the arts, so I’m looking forward to helping provide another voice to help shout about the important work that the Trust is delivering for the region and the broader cultural sector.”

The Piece Hall was reopened in 2017 following extensive refurbishment and renovation.
