Valley from the air in Janet’s images
An exhibition of aerial photographs of Yorkshire by Janet Wright is to be shown at the Sportsman, Kebcote, on the Todmorden-Blackshaw Head border.
The open evening is on Friday, November 5, at 7.30pm with music by guitarist Angus Barclay. The exhibition is on for a month.
Janet, of Todmorden, says the photographs were taken on a few sorties with Heli-Jet Aviation`s pilot Simon Edwards (Yorkshire TV`s pilot on Northern Skies).
The areas covered are from Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Settle Malham, Wharfedale and Ripon on the eastern side, and places in between.
“It is essential to have a good pilot who understands about filming and photography.
“Simon is excellent and is able quite often to see possible shots that might otherwise have been missed,” said Janet.
