Record Store Day 2015 in Harrogate

Record Store Day, the eighth annual celebration of record collectors and vinyl junkies is this Saturday, April 18, where people will be queuing across the UK in the hope of getting hold of a coveted release.
More than 200 UK record shops are taking part in the same week that soaring sales of vinyl records over the last few years led to the launch of an official weekly vinyl chart last Sunday.

Hide AdMore than one million vinyl records were sold in the UK in 2014 - the first time the milestone has been achieved since 1996.

David Bowie - “Changes” on 7”, 3000 pressings.
The Doors - “Strange Days”(Mono) on 12”, 1000 pressings.
Johnny Marr - “I Feel You”on 7”, 1000 pressings
Monty Python - “Galaxy Song (Stephen Hawking Version)” on 7” Single, 1000 pressings.

Sly & The Family Stone - “Live at the Fillmore East” on LP, 500 pressings.

The White Stripes - “Get Behind Me Satan” as red and white vinyl 2LPs, 2000 pressings.
Metallica - “No Life ‘til Leather” released as a limited edition cassette, from 1982 by the band’s original lineup. Quantity: 1000.
