There’s a welcome return to Square Chapel arts centre, Halifax, for tribute act The Sounds of Simon on Saturday, April 23.

The acclaimed All The Hits 1957-1987 tour has delighted audiences all over the UK with its note-perfect reproduction of the spine-tingling harmonies of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.

Ben Bowden and Adam Ellis, who play the duo on stage, have been described by critics as ‘the world’s best Simon and Garfunkel tribute’.

The two-hour show features all the hits released by Simon and Garfunkel - and by Simon himself - over a 30-year period. The show starts with ‘Hey Schoolgirl’, released in 1957 when the duo were only 15 years old, and ends with ‘Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes’ from the Grammy-winning ‘Graceland’ album.

Adam said: “It’s great to take a songwriter as brilliant as Paul Simon and track his development over 30 years. The evening will show how a songwriter practises and develops his craft.

“It’s great to come back to Square Chapel and old friends.”

The show starts at 7.30pm. Tel: 01422 349422.
