New-country/soul group The Delines arrive at Hebden Bridge Trades Club on Wednesday, November 5.
Led by songwriter/novelist Willy Vlautin and fronted by vocalist Amy Boone, they are heading back out on tour in November after filling venues across the UK earlier in June.
Armed with their album Colfax, which has already been cited as “album of the year” plus some covers and new material the band is ready once again to take the UK by storm. UNCUT has given the album 9/10, and Q has called singer Amy Boone “a damaged Dusty Springfield” with a 4 star review.
The Delines also feature the keyboard work of Jenny Conlee of The Decemberists (replaced by Cory Gray of the Dandy Wharhols for the UK tour) for Nov as well as fellow Portlanders Sean Oldham and Vlautin.
Vlautin is no stranger to critical acclaim in the UK, enjoying cult success and stellar reviews in the past.
