Yorkshire-born soprano Lesley Garrett will present an evening of stunning music, reminiscences and behind-the-scenes anecdotes at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield, on Monday, November 21.

She has enjoyed a successful career spanning more than 30 years and performed for audiences around the world, making her name as the UK’s most popular soprano. As a recording artist, she has 14 solo albums to her credit and she performs regularly with major UK orchestras, including the Halle Orchestra with Sir Mark Elder, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the Royal Philharmonic. She has been performing in major operas since her debut with the Royal Opera in 1997 and has appeared in classic productions of ‘The Barber of Seville’ and ‘The Merry Widow’.
