Residents voted with their feet and turned out in numbers for the launch of a Hebden Bridge author’s new book.

Around 30 people went to The Book Case, Hebden Bridge, for Jill Liddington’s new offering “Vanishing for the Vote”.

Jill said: “Vanishing tells the story of the suffragette boycott of the 1911 census.”
