Eggs hatch autumn tour

The Lovely Eggs, one of the country's most popular underground bands, hit the road this autumn and will stop off at the Arden Road Social club, Halifax, on Friday, October 21.

The Lancashire duo have been selling out venues across the country following the release of their critically-acclaimed album ‘This is Our Nowhere’ last year. The Lovely Eggs - aka married couple Holly Ross and David Blackwell - are now looking to cement their reputation as one of the most exciting bands on the music scene.

The autumn tour, which will take in Hull, Newcastle, Northampton, Bristol, Oxford as well as Halifax, will feature the band’s biggest headline gig at Manchester’s Gorilla.

Radio One’s Huw Stephens said: “The Lovely Eggs are just brilliant. You won’t hear another band like them.”
