Don't cry for me
The hit musical '˜Evita' is very rarely performed, so don't miss it when it is staged by Halifax Light Opera Society
at the Halifax Playhouse June 21 – 25.
This is a real coup for the society to obtain the rights to perform the show, which includes hits Don’t Cry for Me Argentina, Oh What a Circus and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.
Alexandra Townend, who has previously choreographed the society’s shows, plays Eva Peron while Ashley Davis is Che.
‘Evita’ has proved such a draw that the society has added a Saturday matinee.
