Thirty-six archers braved wet and windy weather to take part in the inaugural Crazy National Open Tournament hosted by White Rose Archers at Salem Field, Hebden Bridge last Saturday.

Tournament organiser David Whitham was very pleased with the attendance, the number of clubs represented and the determination of the competitors not to let heavy showers spoil the fun.

Club members rallied to help make the day a success. Steve Browne took on the role of Field Captain and Lady Paramount was Janet Wright.

Richard Hudson, Julie Robertson, Nigel Hudson and Stuart Graham all performed important tasks.

There was also some success for White Rose provided by Sheila Hudson, who won two events.
