The 28-year-old Rainworth-born player, who had a spell at Rotherham United, becomes Billy Heath’s third signing from his former club for an undisclosed fee.

King, who can play in left midfield or attacking roles, captained Ferriby to their FA Trophy success last year and also victory in last month’s National North play-off against AFC Fylde.

He has sscored more than 50 goals for North Ferriby and is regarded as a busy, energetic player.
