TODMORDEN Netball League was back in full flow last week with some entertaining encounters on the courts.
After the long winter break it took some players a while to get back into the swing of things and Tod Terriers found themselves without their usual shooters for the game against Jammy Dodgers.
It was to prove crucial as there was just one goal in it at half-time, Dodgers leading 3-2, but the Jammy ladies pulled clear after the break and eventually won 14-6.
Both Pink Panthers and Robinwood Robins were a player short for their clash and they made the extra space on court pay with a high speed game.
Robins found the net with more consistency as they just had the firepower to win 13-9.
Panthers defended well but some good passing helped Robins find space in the circle.
Windies gained revenge for a heavy defeat earlier in the season when they beat Thundercats 17-10.
There was good passing, defending and attacking on both sides but excellent mid-court play by Windies got the ball to their shooters who converted.
Rangers couldn't raise a team and Jumping Jacks were given a bye.
