THE top of Division One of the Hebden Royd Bowling League changed dramatically following round three of the fixtures
Oxenhope A managed to match their hosts, Luddenden Foot, with four wins each but lost out on the aggregate.

The resulting scoreline sees both teams in top spot on 20 points each.

Crossroads A have recorded successive 9-1victories and are now th
ird with 18 points.

Their latest win was against Mytholmroyd BCA, removing them from the top three in the process.

The Crossroads team will be satisfied with their position as they have played one game less.

Ripponden suffered their first defeat, at home to Lund Park B and this cost them their place at the top of Division 2.

Their 21 points keeps them in the mix, as Mytholmroyd WM recorded their third win and move ahead of Ripponden with a one point advantage.

Mytholmroyd BC B and Hebden Royd Park both recorded 7-1 home wins and now have 19 points and 17 points respectively.

In Division 3, Crossroads C' made it three wins from three and top the league with 26 points.

Heptonstall are also unbeaten and are comfortably in second place on 22 points. Mytholmroyd BC A and Heptonstall B come next on 16 points with the Mytholmroyd team in a strong position, having played one match less than the three front runners.

Luddenden Foot continued their winning start to the season, their third win giving them a top of the table total of 21 points from a possible 24.

Saville are also unbeaten and hold second place on 18 points.

Mytholmroyd BC suffered their first defeat, to reigning champion, Hebden Royd Park, but still make the top three with 16 points.

Hebden Royd Park are only on 12 points, but have played one game less than the reams above them.

Division One: Hebden Bridge 7, Crossroads B 3; Lund Park A 7, Cullingworth 3; Crossroads A 9, Mytholmroyd BC A 1; Denholme A 4, Sowerby A 6; Luddenden Foot A 6, Oxenhope 4.

Division two: Mytholmroyd BC B 9, Savile 1; Ripponden 4, Lund Park B 6; Hebden Royd Park 9, Oakworth 1; Oxenhope B 1, Mytholmroyd WM 9; Sowerby B 7, Hollins 3.

Division three: Old Town B 7, Luddenden Foot C 3; Cullingworth 3, Heptonstall A 7; Heptonstall B 7, Sowerby C 3; Old Town C 2, Mytholmroyd BC 8; Crossroads C 9, Denholme B 1.

Veterans League: Old Town 3, Walsden 5; Ripponden 3, Savile 5, Heptonstall 2, Luddenden Foot 6; Sowerby 5, Mytholmroyd BC 3; Mytholmroyd BC A 3, Hebden Royd Park 5.

The quarter-final _ of the Sunday morning produced a shock with Division One leaguers Luddenden Foot going out to third division, Crossroads C.

Crossroads A recorded a comfortable win over Old Town B, while Old Town A just eased past Hebden Park.

The remaining tie saw Hebden Bridge process with a walk over, as Lund Park withdrew, unable to raise a team.

Semi-final draw: Crossroads C v Old Town at Luddenden Foot; Crossroads A v Hebden Bridge at Old Town.

Both matches commence at 10:30am.
