I have nothing but respect for Craig Whittaker after seeing his rooftop protest in Todmorden.
It takes a lot of courage for an MP to stand up against his own government (and to stand on top of a roof I suppose) to fight for his constituency.
I believe most MP’s would’ve simply just shrugged, said, “Well, I tried.” And moved on. Not Craig Whittaker. He kept fighting, and still is fighting for that money, even today. That’s loyalty. That’s determination. That’s passion for your community. The Calder Valley is lucky to have him as an MP and I’m sure he will come through and get the money for Todmorden High. Cheers to you Mr. Whittaker. Keep standing up for the good of Calder Valley.
