Young gardeners in Mytholmroyd made the most of the sun last weekend.
Tom Andrews, Oliver Galbraith, Isabella Cox and Francesca Cox proved that hard work is fun when you are young when they planted yellow flowers at the Mytholmroyd Railway Station.
Alongside village residents and visitors to the area, the children helped prepare the station for an attractive and colourful welcoming for tourists and cyclists in the upcoming Tour De France.
The Station Partnership were able to prepare the flower displays without the usual disruption of the May monsoon.
The flowers planted were grown by the young gardeners prior to the planting.
