Calder Valley Voices held their summer concert in Hebden Bridge earlier this month.
The community choir performed 16 songs from all over the world dating back as far as the 12th century.
A spokesperson for the choir said: “We would like to thank everyone who came and supported us so enthusiastically.
“It was a fantastic evening. With proceeds from ticket sales and interval tea and cakes we managed to raise £428.54 for the Women’s Centre in Halifax.”
Any men or women who are interested in joining the community choir can take part in a taster session next term.
The voices will be returning from their summer break on Thursday, September 10 at 7.15pm in the Hebden Bridge Methodist Chapel, opposite the Co-operative supermarket.
The mixed choir is made up of around 40 to 50 members and welcomes anyone to join without an audition.
