A 24-year-old man has denied engaging in the preparation of an act of terrorism.
Mohammed Abbas Idris Awan entered not guilty pleas to three terror charges when he appeared via videolink at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday.
As well as pleading not guilty to a charge of engaging in conduct in preparation of a terrorist act on or before June 6 2017, Awan also denied t wo offences of possessing a document or record of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
Awan is due to go on trial at the same court on November 20.
He was remanded in custody by Judge Paul Watson QC.
