ACTOR and writer Dominic Brunt, who plays Paddy the vet in ITV soap Emmerdale, has written, directed and starred in his own zombie movie.

The film, Before Dawn (18), will be previewed at Hebden Bridge Picture House on Thursday, November 15.

Screenplay is by Mark Illis, who moved to Hebden Bridge from London in 1992. He has been writing on Emmerdale for more than a decade, which is how he met Dominic.

The feature-length horror movie is set in the Yorkshire countryside amid an apocalyptic viral outbreak.
