Woman rescued from house fire in Leeds

A woman in her late twenties had to be rescued from a house fire in Leeds.

The incident happened at around 11pm yesterday (Monday) at an address in Brudenell Road.

Fire crews from Leeds and Gipton used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to complete the rescue.

The woman was taken to hospital with cuts and smoke inhalation.
