Walk this way for action group’s relaunch

Hebden Bridge Walkers’ Action (HBWA) is holding a relaunch on Monday at Hebden Bridge Town Hall (7.30pm).

The group’s chair Richard Peters said: “Anyone with an interest in walking in the area should come along. The relaunch is a chance to talk about current activities and get suggestions for other walking issues in the area which HBWA should be working on.”

Current activities include promoting the 906 bus as a walking bus to Widdop and Hardcastle Crags; making a new, more direct route to Hardcastle Crags; promoting a new, easy way of reporting problems with paths; republishing three way-marked walks and maintaining the ‘Walkers are Welcome’ status for Hebden Bridge.
