Raiders broke into Mytholmroyd Co-op in the early hours of Thursday morning(February 14) and stole cigarettes.

Three men entered the premises on Burnley Road at 12.20am.

Police said the trio left crow bars behind.

The store was temporarily shut on Thursday afternoon to allow a police forensic team to carry out their work and it re-opened at 4pm.

The raid was captured on CCTV and a spokeswoman for Co-operative Food said the tape had been handed over the police to help with their investigation.
