Two in hospital after three-vehicle crash blocks main road

A three-vehicle crash caused major disruption to motorists as a main road through Halifax had to be blocked off.

Police were called to King Cross Road at 4.05pm yesterday (Tuesday) after a white Mercedes van, Citroen Berlingo van and blue VW Golf collided close The Feathers pub.

Three people were injured and two have been taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

A diversion was put in place, as West Yorkshire Police, ambulance and fire crews dealth with the incident.
