A Renault Clio damaged in a crash in Dean Clough, Halifax, is towed away

Three people were injured when two cars collided in Dean Clough, Halifax, yesterday (Wednesday).

The incident, which involved a black Renault Clio and a Ford Puma, happened 7.55am. The injured people were taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital, but their injuries were not thought to be serious.

Dean Clough was closed for 15 minutes whilst the Renault was towed away.

PC Cameron Buchan said: “Thankfully, motorists seemed to understand and waited patiently for the recovery to complete.”

Any witnesses to the crash are asked to call the police via 101, quoting log number 238 of 7/5/14 for the attention of PC 3212 Cameron Buchan of Western Area Roads Policing.
