Swishing party aims to fill library shelves
A SCHOOL will hold a swishing party to raise money to buy books for its new library.
Heptonstall Junior, Infant and Nursery School has undergone a major refurbishment and extension.
Parents and Friends Association (PFA) funds have been used to create a library space – and now the PFA is continuing its fundraising efforts to fill the shelves with new books.
The swishing party takes place on Friday May 25 in the new school hall at 8pm. Clothes can be dropped off from 3.30pm. Admission is £2.50.
PFA chairwoman Diane Fare said: “It promises to be a fun evening, and a brilliant way to rejuvenate your wardrobe.”
