Spoken word flood fundraiser

An event in aid of the Upper Valley Flood Fund is to take place at the Hole in The Wall, Hebden Bridge, on Thursday, January 24.

“Speech Bubble” will be a spoken word event with poetry and flash prose from the likes of Jim Donaghy, Ian Humphreys, Winston Plowes - who will perfom verbal and visual poetry - and Char March.

The event, run by Graham Alexander, who will also perform, aims to raise as much as possible to help people affected by the floods last year. Tickets cost £4 and the show begins at 7.30pm.
