The sound of buzzing was heard from miles away as Vespas and Lambrettas filled the roads in celebration of the annual Todrophenia gathering of scooters and motorbikes on May Day weekend.

Hundreds of riders from scooter clubs around the region turned up to the event at Todmorden Cricket Club on May 3 to celebrate the 60s, with a bit of Quadrophenia and an endless supply of scooters – all different shapes, sizes and colours.

Inside, live bands and DJs provided a soundtrack to the event throughout the day and there was more music at the Polished Knob pub in the town centre in the evening.
