Rogue Robot given life by town’s creative spirit
Chris Johnson-Standley, Creative Director, Rogue Robot based at Hebden Bridge Town Hall
Video production and motion graphics company Rogue Robot is going global after moving from Manchester to Hebden Bridge.
“We were looking for a new base – somewhere with a creative spark that we could draw on and be part of,” said Chris Johnson-Standley, the company’s creative director. “We are very pleased with the move.”
Based in Hebden Bridge’s Creative Quarter in the town hall, Rogue Robot offers a range of video and animated graphics services and works for a broad spectrum of clients. Last year the company created work for IBM, Visa and eBay and is now working on a series of videos for AXA.
Chris said: “The great thing about the internet and digital media is that we can be based in Hebden Bridge but effectively work anywhere in the world. We regularly work with London companies and have clients as far afield as San Francisco – distance is no longer an issue. We are also working with local creatives such as illustrators and designers to add an extra flair to the work we can provide. In this respect Hebden Bridge is unbeatable.”
