Rail users across Calderdale are being reminded of changes in services which come into force from tomorrow (Sunday).
On Sundays between October 27 and December 1, Network Rail will be undertaking a number of improvement works on the main Calder Valley route between Halifax and Rochdale as well as at Holme Tunnel between Hebden Bridge and Burnley.
Train services will operate between: York / Leeds to Halifax; Leeds to Huddersfield via Brighouse; Rochdale to Manchester Victoria and Burnley Manchester Road to Blackpool North.
Replacement buses will operate between: Halifax and Rochdale, and Halifax and Burnley Manchester Road.
Tickets marked ‘Route Burnley’ and ‘Route Hebden Bridge’ are not valid on services via Brighouse or Huddersfield.
To travel to Manchester or Blackpool via Huddersfield you must purchase an ‘Any Permitted’ route ticket.
