Prime Minister David Cameron has lent his support to Welcome To Yorkshire as they prepare to host the Tour de France.
Welcome To Yorkshire’s Chief Executive Gary Verity was invited to talk to the Cabinet in Leeds about how they won the bid and how the Government could help in the build-up to the event
Mr Verity said: “Being asked to brief the Cabinet about the Tour de France shows how seriously this Government is taking the Grand Départ.”
