Author Linda Green’s new book The Mummyfesto, set in Hebden Bridge, has been voted a great success by readers in the upper Calder Valley and beyond.
Linda, accompanied by her son Rohan, launched her fifth novel at the town hall. “I was delighted to see so many people,” she said. “For a novel set in Hebden Bridge, it was really important to me to be able to launch it in Hebden Bridge.
“The initial response to the novel has been very positive and I’ve already had lots of feedback from readers.
“I’ve got my fingers crossed now for some good first-week sales figures that will see it go straight into the bestseller charts.”
