Children at Luddenden CE School got into the entrepreneurial spirit by setting up small businesses to raise funds for a trip.

Youngsters in Elm class (year five) put their ideas to a “Dragons’ Den” style panel and then made and created the items they needed for their stalls.

A school spokesperson said: “They worked together brilliantly as a group and used a lot of numeracy and literacy skills.”
