Hannah’s three-legged Pike walk

A TEENAGER will embark on a charity walk with a difference this weekend.

Hannah Gee, a sixth form student at Calder High School, is aiming to complete a three-legged walk from Hebden Bridge to Stoodley Pike and back on Sunday, May 27, with the help of one of her friends.

Hannah has been practising three-legged walking as part of her training for the event, which she is undertaking in order to raise funds for the Great Generation Project, which Calder High supports.

“It should be a good day,” she said. “Hopefully it’s going to be sunny.”

She is still looking for sponsorship.

Anybody wishing to sponsor her can do so by contacting Calder High School’s reception on 01422 883213.

The Great Generation Project aims to help communities seek solutions to poverty.
