CALDERDALE’S golden girl Hannah Cockroft will be racing in to the Calder Valley this afternoon.

The double gold medal winner, who received a hero’s welcome at the Piece Hall, Halifax, two weeks ago, will be at Hebden Bridge Town Hall from 4pm to 6pm to give people the chance to meet her and take photos.

The Halifax wheelchair athlete inspired millions with her performances in the Paralympic Games. The event is free but donations will be gratefully received for the Upper Valley Flood Fund to continue to help flood-stricken areas to recover.
