Hebden Bridge Times relaunch front page

From next week there will be a brand new look to your favourite local newspaper.

Not only will there be a stylish, fresh design across all the pages of the Hebden Bridge Times, it will also include a colourful and detailed entertainment guide giving you the best coverage of what’s going on across the area in the coming weeks.

As usual, we’ll be focusing on the news that is important to people in the upper Calder Valley. Transport, jobs, schools and initiatives that set the free-thinking folk of the valley apart from many other areas of West Yorkshire will be highlighted and celebrated.

We plan to focus on the business world, offer individuals and communities an even louder voice and give added prominence to junior sporting achievements.

If you’re doing something unusual for charity, let us know.

Is your child’s school planning a fundraising event? We would love to hear all about it and take some pictures.

Are you getting married this year? Send us your wedding photo.

What about signing your child up for the Birthday Club, so they get a mention in the paper?

As the year progresses, we’ll be putting the spotlight on some of the major events in the upper Calder Valley, including the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival and Mytholmroyd Gala.

There will be competitions, special offers, a selection of readers’ letters and a host of new features to get you talking.

Head of content John Greenwood said: “It’s always our intention to provide in-depth coverage of important issues and this exciting new look, combined with up-to-the-minute news on our websites, will keep our readers in touch with all that’s happening in the upper Calder Valley.”

See the relaunch issue on January 24 for an extra special, not-to-be-missed subscription offer.
