HEBDEN Royd residents will go to the ballot box next Thursday.
There are five candidates to chose from, three standing in the West End ward of Hebden Bridge, and two competing for the White Leeward of Mytholmroyd.
In West End, Stephen Denis Curry is standing as an independent, Jonathan Charles Timbers is representing Labour and Craig Whittall is the Liberal Democrat candidate.
In White Lee, Robin Dixon is standing for Labour and Julia Gibson is representing the Lib Dems.
The two seats have been vacant since Canon James Allison and Wesley Downes stood down.
