Co-op’s £320,000 investment in food store
TWo local schools will be officially opening the “new look” Co-operative store in Hebden Bridge next Thursday, May 24.
The Co-op has spent £320,000 refurbishing its food store in Market Street.
Children from Central Street Infants and and Riverside Junior Schools will perform the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10am. Both schools will receive a donation of £100 for each of the schools’ funds.
Manager Mr John Hobin said: “We operate in the heart of the community and by doing so provide an ideal location for people to shop locally. Upgrading the store had freshened up the shopping experience and improved the vitality of the area.”
