Charity gets boost from Calder Valley

A charity coordinator has thanked the community for its support after raising £350 for Action for Children. Fay Fielding said the total was up £87.50 on last year’s effort and that anyone who wants to help should get in contact with her.

She said: “Thanks to all who have had the charity boxes and who made donations. This has been my fifth year of doing it and every year there has been an increase.”
