Yorkshire-based sand artist Jamie Wardley, alongside the Sandinyoureye team, has created a 10-tonne sand sculpture at Hebden Royd Town Hall.

The piece, called Loss is Eternal, has been created in remembrance of World War One and will be on view in the town hall courtyard for three months.

There will also be an exhibition at the town hall about Hebden Royd’s involvement in the war.
