Since it was announced the Tour De France would be making its way through the Calder Valley on July 6, we have seen many visiting cyclists in the area to try out the route over Cockhill Moor, through Hebden Bridge and perhaps their luck at the long Cragg Road ascent which will form one of the biggest tests for the racers.

However, we wonder if Sir Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froome, Mark Cavendish and company will take to the bus shelter, possibly to change transport, as a group of cyclists did when the heavens opened in Hebden Bridge last Sunday...

Reader Richard Lyon took this photograph - many thanks, Richard!
