Community groups will get three minutes to share all at “Hebden Bridge, our town” review of the year.
The event is being hosted by Hebden Bridge Partnership - the umbrella organisation bringing together voluntary sector and community organisations - on Thursday, October 10, at 7pm in Hebden Bridge Town Hall.
As in past years, community organisations - of which there is expected to be over 20 - will have three minutes to share with others their recent activities and their plans for the year ahead.
Invitations to the event - which will form pat of the partnership’s AGM - have been sent out to those groups who are members of the partnership and to other groups who have participated in previous years, but chairman Andrew Bibby is keen to make it clear that other local community organisations are also welcome to participate. They are asked to contact him before the end of this month via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hebden Bridge Partnership’s draft action plan “Vision 2020” was launched in May this year, and members of the management board are now reviewing the text in the light of the sixty consultation responses received. A final version is expected to be ready in time for the meeting.
