A coffee morning - with more entertainment added in - is set to raise money to help rebuild nurseries and schools in Gaza, which have been damaged or destroyed in the conflict there.
The coffee morning will be held at Central Methodist Church, Bramsche Square, Todmorden, on Saturday, March 21.
It will run from 10am to 1pm, and as well as the chance to enjoy a cuppa, other entertainment and things to do are being laid on.
This includes a children’s entertainer to keep the smaller guests’ attention while the grown-ups take the chance to relax, and there will also be a home made produce stall, a tombola, and soup and rolls will be offered at lunchtime.
The event is organised by the church to raise money for the methodist charity Bible Lands, which is aiming to help rebuild the damaged buildings.
