Police have increased patrols in Calder Holmes Park, after complaints about anti-social behaviour.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team officers have recently made two separate arrests for drug dealing, it was revealed at a recent Calder Ward forumheld at the Hebden Bridge Town Hall.
Action has been taken by the NPT officers over people acting anti-socially or in an inappropriate manner.
Drug dogs have also been used and this has resulted in drugs being seized and people being dealt with by police.
Patrols are said to be continuing over the next few weeks around and in the Calder Holmes Park.
In other matters in and around the town, officers in Hebden Bridge have responded to speeding concerns on the A646 and have been conducting regular speed checks on the road with a Pro Laser speed gun, the meeting heard.
